The sun is finally shining, so now’s the time to get your outdoor space in shape in time for summer. One of the key elements to enjoying your garden, however, is getting the furniture right for you and your family. Versatility and practicality are key, but of course we want it to still look good too right? Here are some of our picks of the latest garden furniture that covers all bases.

Honeybourne pull-out sofa, £699, The Cotswold Company

Remember Transformers? Well this clever sofa lounger is giving a similar vibe; it’s nifty pull-out design allows the front sections to transform the sofa into a chaise lounge, double-ended lounger or a full daybed for you and the kids to pile onto.

Valentina Corner Lounge Dining Set with Adjustable Table, £2,499, Atkin & Thyme

OK, so this one is a bit more punchy price wise, but it’s clever and ultra-practical, so it should see you through many summers. What we especially like is the clever height-adjustable table so you can go from coffee table for drinks and nibbles (or kids teatimes) up to a standard dining table height in an instant. Not only that, it’s also made from powder-coated aluminium, so it’ll last a lot longer than wood or PE rattan, plus the padded cushions are completely weather-resistant so they can be left outside year-round without the need to store them – that’s a win in our book.
