Emily Dobbs - London loft conversion


I’ve been in awe of Emily’s work since I discovered her and wrote a piece for The Guardian on her own home – in her latest project she’s come up trumps again with this stunning loft conversion that’s full of stripes (everyone who knows me knows I love a stripe) and a circus-inspired nook, naturally. It’s whimsical and I love it.
Sola kitchens - Scandi Asian project
I was writing a piece recently on open-plan layouts and stumbled across this award-winning kitchen by Sola kitchens that celebrates the owners' Sri Lankan and Singaporean heritage and their enjoyment of living close to nature. It’s a great example of how to successfully create that indoor-outdoor connection and who doesn’t love a swing seat?
